All with smiles and professionalism! This company has been my go-to recommendation to my clients for their top tier client services and reports over the last 2 years!
Detail oriented, professional, consistent, reliable, communicative, accommodating, and quick to turn around reports given deadlines.
This past weekend, Dakota Washburn met my clients and me out in Victor to inspect a home from the 1900's (owner James Hale has even inspected an 1800's home for my people and me) where he performed all due diligences in a timely, professional manner, made sure to include my clients and me in his findings, and helped them have a full understanding of what the home will need being sold as-is.
Thank you Journey Inspections for being a constant in this industry as the best at what y'all do, and providing ease of home ownership to my people!!!
I look forward to our continued journey 😉

Best regards,

Their site makes scheduling so easy, and they offer plenty of options. They are equipped to do several different specialty inspections as well. (Don't skip the sewer scope!) James was very responsive with confirmations, and scheduling brought his colleague, Dakota, out for the actual inspection.
Dakota was wonderful to work with. He showed up right on time, and he explained every step of a very thorough process. He walked us through everything from things not to code to concerns to general home maintenance of things like the furnace and emergency shut off valves. He explained things in a way that made me feel more confident both in proceeding with the home purchase and also just general maintenance. In just a few short hours, I felt like I had added Dakota to my "buying team"!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is an objective visual examination of the physical structure and systems of a house, from the roof to the foundation. Home inspections are designed to protect the buyer, by revealing problems they might not have noticed otherwise.
How much does a home inspection cost?
Our home inspections start at $350. The cost will vary based on the square footage of the home, the age of the home, and location of the home. Call, text, or email us for a quote today!
How long does a home inspection take?
Home inspections generally take 2 to 4 hours to complete. The duration of a home inspection depends on many factors such as the size of the home, the condition of the home, and the ability to access certain areas of the home (roof, crawl space, attic, etc.).
Should I attend the inspection?
Although it is not necessary, we do recommend that you attend the inspection so you can ask questions and learn more about the home. You will learn a lot from the inspection report, but we always encourage you to attend!
What if the inspection report reveals problems?
It is important to note that no house is perfect. At the end of the home inspection process, we will provide a detailed report that describes the physical condition of the property, with images and videos highlighting what may need repair or replacement. The information provided is to allow a potential buyer to make an informed decision about moving forward with the transaction. It is not pass or fail.
